What's the state of play with the band at the moment? What can we expect from you in the future?
We’re on tour and going to play the album out for the rest of the year and then around Januray to March time we’re going to write new demos for going back into the studio next spring. I couldn’t tell you how that’s going to go, I don’t even know how that’s going to sound so we’ll wait and see. We love playing live and we’re playing a lot more live shows this year so if anyone get’s the chance they should come out.
Is there anyone you would really like to support?
I would love to play with a band called The Hold Steady. I’ve seen them once and I think they are amazing with an amazing amount of energy and I just love their songs. I’m kinda heavily into The Hold Steady.
Playing The Mill show on the 25th of September you are billed with We Were Promised Jetpacks. Have you played with them before?
We have indeed. They’re fantastic. I think it’s going to be awesome.
Is there anyone else in the Scottish music that you find exciting at the moment?
I love the Twilight Sad who are also on Fat Cat, and there’s a band called El Padre that I think definitely do some really good stuff and I saw a band called Edgar Prais at T in the park, there were about 8 of them on stage, I thought they were awesome, so they’re my tips I’d say.
